4x4 Recovery Towbar for Mitsubishi Triton MQ & MR Cab Chassis No Rear Step (05/2015 - 2024) by TAG

The TAG 4x4 Recovery Towbar is built in Australia for Triton MQ and MR cab chassis utes without a rear bumper step, and it's engineered to do double duty: tow rated for everyday work, and load rated for genuine off-road recovery when you need it.

At the heart of it is an 89mm x 89mm reinforced crossbar and two integrated recovery points, each rated to a 4500kg working load limit. The side-arms use TAG's 3-piece design with bevelled edges so soft shackles seat properly, and the whole unit mounts flush to the chassis to preserve your departure angle rather than hanging a step below the rear.

It's fitted with a zinc tow ball and Extreme Duty drop hitch rated at 3100kg towing capacity and 310kg ball weight, plus pin, clip and D-shackles. Fitting takes around two hours, and because a towbar is a safety critical fitment with real vehicle-to-vehicle variation, we'd recommend getting it installed by a professional towbar or vehicle accessory fitter.

If you need this towbar with wiring already sorted, we stock it as a complete kit too: the MQ version (05/2015–11/2018) or the MR version (12/2018 onward).
