If you run a 70 Series through creek crossings and red dust, the factory air intake works against you every time, sitting low right where water and dust get in first. Safari's V-Spec snorkel for the MY24 facelift 70 Series lifts the intake up and out of harm's way, purpose-built for the 76, 78 and 79 Series running the 4.5 litre V8 turbo diesel.

It replaces the factory Toyota raised air intake outright, not just sits alongside it, and bolts straight to the existing A-pillar mounting point so there's no extra drilling involved. The 3.5 inch Air Ram is built around an optimised, low-restriction grill for a genuine airflow gain over the standard intake, and like every Safari snorkel, it's designed, moulded and made right here in Australia.
