It sits close to the roofline, follows the vehicle’s shape nicely, and gives you proper usable space without making the car feel top-heavy or bulky.
And this version is light bar ready from the start.
Built to Fit Properly
This rack mounts directly to the existing factory mounting points once the factory rails are removed. It’s designed specifically for the 3rd Gen Crosstrek (GU), so you’re not dealing with universal brackets or awkward compromises.
The flat-deck Slimsport platform provides a generous load carrying area of 1633mm x 1146mm, enough space for touring gear, sports equipment or work kit.
Strong Where It Counts
The sleek side rails feature integrated mounting feet, supported by additional brace brackets for added strength. The aluminium slats are high-strength and run with top and bottom T-slots, making it simple to mount Front Runner top mount accessories without drilling into the rack.
If you’re expanding your setup later, you can add the Slimsport Side Mount Accessory Bracket / Small (sold separately) to run compatible side-mount accessories.
Light Bar Ready
Included is a Slimsport 40" Light Bar Wind Fairing with a 40-inch cut-out designed to suit the Front Runner 40" LED Slim Light Bar VX1000-CB SM (12V/24V, single mount), sold separately.
It keeps the install neat and integrated. No cutting. No guesswork. Just a clean finish if you plan on early starts, remote tracks or long country drives where extra visibility makes sense.

The t-slots on the tops and bottoms of the slats accommodate standard 8mm bolts.
To determine the approximate height from your vehicle’s roof to the top of your Slimsport Rack add 60mm-70mm (2.4"-2.8") to the highest point of your roof.
