The Series 30XL is a hydraulic winch powered by a compatible hydraulic power source rather than a vehicle battery. It requires a hydraulic system capable of delivering 15 to 20 GPM flow. No electrical connection is needed for winch operation.
Does the 30XL come with rope, a fairlead, or a remote?
None of these are included. The Series 30XL ships without rope, fairlead, or remote control. You will need to source 15.9mm (5/8") steel wire rope separately. The drum is rated to accommodate 42.7m of that rope diameter.
What line speed does the 30XL deliver?
At no load on the first drum layer with 20 GPM flow, the 30XL delivers 21.9 ft/min (6.7 m/min). Under full rated load of 30,000lb on layer 1 at 15 GPM, speed drops to 14.1 ft/min (4.3 m/min).

The Series 30XL uses a spring-applied disc brake designed to hold the full rated 30,000lb load. This brake engages automatically whenever the winch is not actively pulling.
