The TAG Extreme Recovery Towbar for the 75 and 79 Series Landcruiser, including facelift models, builds two WLL 4500kg load-rated recovery points into the side-arms, giving you somewhere properly engineered to hook a snatch strap or winch line.

The crossbar carries an 89mm x 89mm extreme duty section and is chassis-mounted flush for the best departure angle. On 79 Series models built from August 2012 onwards, the bar itself is engineered for up to 4500kg towing and 450kg ball weight, though the hitch and tow ball supplied as standard are rated to 3500kg/350kg. To use the full 4500kg/450kg capacity you'll need a higher-rated hitch and tow ball (TAG list part UNTTBM450 or a 70mm ball as options), plus any pre-registration modifications your state requires to legally tow at that weight. Earlier 75 and 79 Series models, built before August 2012, use a different chassis and this bar is rated to 3500kg/350kg on those regardless of hitch.

Built in Australia and covered by TAG's limited lifetime warranty, it comes standard with a zinc tow ball, drop hitch, pin and clip, and D-shackles.
