Extreme Recovery Towbar & Direct Fit Wiring for Toyota Prado 150 Series (08/2009 - 06/2024) by TAG

Before fitting this kit to a 150 Series Prado, check where the spare wheel lives. This TAG Extreme Recovery (XR) towbar is built for Prados with the spare wheel mounted on the tailgate, and will not fit a Prado with the spare wheel under the vehicle. If that's your setup, TAG's T7T728 is the correct part instead.

For tailgate-spare Prados, this kit pairs a Class 4, 50mm square hitch receiver rated to 3000kg towing and 300kg ball weight with a direct fit ECU wiring harness, so the electrical and mechanical sides of the job are covered in one purchase. Two WLL 4000kg load-rated recovery points are built into the reinforced crossbar with bevelled edges shaped for a soft shackle.

At 34.66kg, it adds very little weight to the back of the vehicle, and fitting takes around 90 minutes in a workshop.

Fitment: Fits Toyota Prado 150 Series with spare wheel on tailgate, August 2009 to June 2024. Not compatible with spare-wheel-under-vehicle models (use T7T728 instead).

Please note: This towbar will not fit a Prado with the spare wheel mounted under the vehicle. If your Prado has an under-vehicle spare, TAG's T7T728 is the correct fitment.
