Kalbarri Side Gen 2 Hardshell Rooftop Tent With Ladder by San Hima

The Kalbarri Side Gen 2 is a side-opening hardshell rooftop tent, and that one design choice changes how the whole thing lives. Opening across the side rather than off the back gives you a 206 x 152cm floor, the widest interior in the Kalbarri range, and it puts the entry where your awning already is.

Gen 2 adds a built-in digital power panel inside the tent, with USB-C, three USB-A outlets and a 12V CIG socket on an internal switch. It also has AC duct holes, so a portable air conditioner hose can pass through without leaving the tent open to bugs and weather. If you tour through a Queensland summer, that is not a novelty.
