CapeTop 4x4 Rooftop Tent and Annex Extension from San Hima

Turn your vehicle into a comfortable basecamp with the San Hima CapeTop Rooftop Tent and Annex Extension. Designed for touring, camping and weekend getaways, the CapeTop combines a compact hard-shell rooftop tent with a spacious annex that gives you extra sheltered living space at camp.

The rooftop tent uses a Snap Fold System, keeping the packed profile compact while providing a 215 x 130 x 104 cm interior when set up. At 59.65 kg without the ladder, it is designed to balance usable space with a manageable overall weight.

Inside, a built-in digital power panel provides USB-A, USB-C and 12V CIG socket connections for charging and powering compatible devices. The tent also features a dedicated AC duct hole, allowing an air-conditioner hose to be routed into the tent while helping keep insects and rain out.

For sleeping comfort, the CapeTop includes a 5.5 cm cloud foam mattress and an anti-condensation mat. The full-coverage canopy uses a silver lining to help reduce sunlight entering the tent, while the blackout-lined main body helps create a darker sleeping environment. Mesh windows provide ventilation while helping keep insects outside.

An adjustable 3,000K amber LED strip light provides built-in lighting for reading, relaxing or getting organised after dark. The front door can also be used as an awning, giving you additional shade or sheltered space around the tent entrance.

CapeTop Annex Extension

Add the matching CapeTop Annex to create 7.67 m² of additional floor coverage around your rooftop tent. The annex provides a practical sheltered area for storing gear, setting up chairs and tables, dining, changing or creating additional space for the family.

The annex is made from 210D Ripstop Oxford fabric with a 3,000 mm waterproof rating and UV50+ protection. It is designed specifically to suit the San Hima CapeTop Rooftop Tent.

Setup is straightforward: attach the annex to the rooftop tent, secure the corners, install the support rods and peg it out.

The annex can be used as:
