It combines Hema's trusted off-road navigation, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and integrated front and rear Full HD dash cameras, so there's no need to juggle multiple screens or accessories.

At the heart of the HR-1 Nav is Hema's award-winning 3D Explorer Map, giving you detailed offline navigation across Australia, including more than 427,000 km of mapped 4WD tracks, topographic mapping with 10 m contour detail, track difficulty ratings and nearly 2.2 million Points of Interest. Whether you're following highways or exploring remote touring routes, you'll have detailed mapping available even when mobile coverage disappears.

Unlike many portable GPS units, the HR-1 Nav is designed specifically for life inside Australian vehicles. It operates without an internal lithium battery, helping improve reliability in high cabin temperatures while avoiding common battery-related issues such as swelling or heat degradation. A quick-release magnetic mount also makes it easy to move the unit between vehicles or remove it when not in use.
