XRS Overland Xtreme Truck Back Rack System for Mid Size Utes by Go Rhino

When your setup starts growing beyond recovery boards and a swag, you need a rack system that can actually keep up. The Go Rhino XRS Overland Xtreme Rack is built for touring, camping and overland setups where carrying rooftop tents, fuel, water and trail gear becomes part of every trip.

What makes the XRS system stand out is Go Rhino’s 4-CORE crossbar system. The slotted design accepts standard 1/4"-20 hex hardware, giving you far more flexibility when mounting accessories, lighting, recovery gear and camping equipment. Instead of locking you into proprietary mounts, the system is designed to adapt to the way you actually use your vehicle.

The combination of aluminium crossbars and steel uprights helps balance strength with weight savings, while the modular layout gives you multiple mounting points across the rack. Integrated MOLLE panels and threaded accessory points on each upright make it easier to organise gear without cluttering the tray or tub.

Designed for mid-size utes including the Ford Ranger, Next-Gen Ranger, Hilux, Navara and Colorado, the XRS rack can be installed without drilling using either factory bed track systems or the supplied bed rail clamps depending on vehicle configuration.

The XRS Overland Xtreme Rack has a static load capacity of 270 kg and a dynamic load capacity of 136 kg. The dynamic rating is the relevant figure when the vehicle is in motion, this is the maximum load the rack is designed to carry safely while driving. The higher static figure applies only when the vehicle is stationary. When packing for a trip, work to the 136 kg dynamic limit, not the static figure.

What is actually included in the kit?

The kit includes: the XRS Rack, an Accessory Gear Plate (mountable inside, outside, on top, or underneath the rack), a Gear Table, a Quick Release Tent Bracket, a Reel Handle Kit, and a Tie Down Kit. Rooftop tents, lighting, MOLLE pouches, and additional crossbar accessories are sold separately.

Can I run a rooftop tent on this rack and still carry other gear alongside it?

Yes, the XRS Overland Xtreme is designed for exactly this kind of setup.
