The Front Runner Slimsport Roof Rack Kit for Subaru Crosstrek 3rd Gen (GU) (2023–current) gives you a practical, low-profile platform that adds real carrying capacity without turning your wagon into a tall, noisy setup. It sits close to the roofline, keeps things tidy, and gives you a solid base you can build on over time.
This isn’t just a couple of crossbars. It’s a full flat-deck system designed for touring, work gear, or sports equipment.
Proper Usable Space
The Slimsport platform offers a load carrying area of 1640mm x 1146mm, giving you enough room for storage boxes, recovery gear, boards, or even the start of a more serious touring setup.
It mounts to the existing factory mounting points once the factory rails are removed. The sleek side rails feature integrated mounting feet, reinforced with additional brace brackets for added strength. It’s built to handle real loads, not just light accessories.
Easy Accessory Fitment
The high-strength aluminium slats include top and bottom T-slots, making it straightforward to mount Front Runner top mount accessories without drilling into the rack itself.
If you want to expand your setup later, the Slimsport Side Mount Accessory Bracket / Small (sold separately) allows you to run compatible side-mount accessories.
The included full fairing with rubber edge trim helps smooth airflow across the front of the rack, reducing wind noise during highway driving.
Light Bar Option Available
Planning on adding auxiliary lighting? An optional 40" Light Bar Wind Fairing (sold separately) is available with a 40-inch cut-out designed to suit the Front Runner 40" LED Slim Light Bar VX1000-CB SM (12V/24V, single mount).
It keeps the install neat and integrated rather than looking like an add-on.
