Retrax PowertraxONE MX Electric Bed Cover for RAM 1500 DT 5'7 w/out RAMBOX

This cover is designed for the RAM 1500 DT (2019+) crew cab with the 5'7" (approximately 170 cm) bed, fitted without the optional RamBox storage compartments. If your RAM has RamBox integrated into the bed sides, the tub profile and rail dimensions are different -- check our RamBox-compatible listings instead. The 5'7" bed is the shorter crew cab tray configuration. The longer 6'4" variant is also available separately.

The PowertraxONE MX comes with the retractable polycarbonate bed cover, the canister housing unit, mounting hardware, and a wireless key fob for electric operation. The LED cargo light is integrated into the canister and controlled via the fob, with a safety auto shutoff. Professional installation is recommended by Retrax.

The one-piece polycarbonate construction is rated to perform between -45 and +93 degrees C, well within the temperature range encountered across Australia. There are no joints, hinges, or seams that can crack, freeze, or trap debris. For corrugated track driving, polycarbonate handles vibration well. We suggest checking the mounting hardware periodically after extended rough terrain use, as vibration can gradually work fixings loose.

The PowertraxONE MX uses a patented low-profile flush-front design that creates a firm seal along the bed rails when closed, intended to keep the bed dry under normal rain conditions. The seamless one-piece polycarbonate avoids the joints and hinges where dust accumulates on other covers. Like most retractable covers, we treat it as highly water-resistant rather than fully sealed. Directing a pressure washer at the seals directly may allow minor moisture in.

Yes. The electromagnetic brake allows the cover to lock in any position along the rail. You can leave the cover partially retracted to accommodate taller items in the bed while still covering the section nearest the cab. The fob controls both the open and close movement, and a press of the button locks it wherever it sits.

While the clamp-on system does not require drilling the bed rails, alignment significantly affects how well the cover seals and how reliably the electric mechanism operates over time. You can confirm your bed length by measuring the tray floor from the inside face of the cab bulkhead to the inside face of the tailgate when it is closed. The 5'7" configuration is approximately 170 cm; the 6'4" is approximately 193 cm. Your vehicle's build sheet, window sticker, or registration papers may also list the bed configuration.
