9" Round 4x4 LED Driving Lamp | Silver Bezel by Hulk 4x4

The silver bezel version of Hulk 4x4's 9 inch round LED driving lamp is the long-range option in the round lineup, rated at 1 Lux at 701 metres with a 491,000cd peak beam intensity. It's built around the same 6,000K LED array delivering 15,600 raw and 12,500 effective lumens as Hulk 4x4's other 9 inch driving lamps, finished with a silver bezel for a different look on the bull bar or roof rack.

Electronic Thermal Management, reverse polarity protection, and over and under voltage protection are all built in, and the lamp is rated IP68 and IP69K, with UV, water and shock resistance to 15G. It carries ECE R10 and CE approval and is built for a -40°C to +60°C working range with a rated 50,000 hour LED lifespan, backed by a 2 year manufacturer warranty.

What does 1 Lux @ 701m mean?

It's the beam-throw rating, and at 701 metres it's the longest in Hulk 4x4's round driving lamp range.

What's the difference between raw and effective lumens?

Raw lumens (15,600) measure output at the LED source; effective lumens (12,500) is what's delivered after the optics.

What does the 15G shock rating cover?

It means the lamp is engineered to withstand vibration and impact up to 15G, relevant on corrugated dirt roads. Correct mounting hardware and periodic checks are still recommended.

What does ECE R10 and CE approval mean?

They indicate the lamp has been tested for electromagnetic compatibility and meets relevant EU safety and EMC requirements, relevant to minimising interference with other vehicle electronics.

Can this driving lamp interfere with radar cruise control?

ECE R10 approval indicates electromagnetic compatibility testing. Mounting position still matters, so keep it clear of any radar or camera housing and check with a qualified installer if you're unsure.

Is this driving lamp legal to fit in Australia?

Auxiliary driving lights are generally legal in Australia provided they're wired to activate only with high beam and are mounted and aimed in line with the Australian Design Rules for supplementary driving lamps. Requirements vary by state, so check with your state transport authority or a qualified installer before fitting.

What's covered under the warranty?

Is this the same light engine as the Black or Green bezel version?

Yes. It shares the same 15,600 raw and 12,500 effective lumen output, 9.8A/4.8A current draw, and 225mm x 231mm x 83mm housing as Hulk 4x4's Black and Green bezel version of this 9 inch lamp. The bezel finish is the only difference between the two.
