Not every 4WD, boat or ute runs a single 12V system, and if you're juggling a 24V truck, tractor or piece of plant alongside your regular vehicles, keeping two separate chargers in the shed gets old fast. This HULK 4X4 7.5A switchmode battery charger handles both voltages in the one unit, running an 8-stage automatic charge and maintenance cycle so batteries stay topped up without you standing over them.

It's built to work across the batteries you're actually likely to own: wet cell, GEL, AGM, MF, calcium and EFB lead-acid, plus 12V lithium rechargeable batteries. The XB2 smart processor reads the battery, works out what stage of charge it needs, and steps through the cycle automatically, including a boost function for batteries that have dropped low. Even a genuinely flat battery isn't necessarily a write-off: the charger can rescue batteries down to 2V on a 12V system or 16V on a 24V system before starting the main charge.

Connection is straightforward, with interchangeable battery clamps and eyelet terminals that plug straight into the charger lead, so you can leave permanent terminals fitted to a vehicle or boat and just clip the lead on when needed. There's also a dedicated power supply mode (5A at 13.6V) if you need a stable 12V feed rather than a charge cycle. The IP65-rated case and 2-year warranty round it out as something built to live in a shed or tool box rather than a display cabinet.
