580mm Heavy Duty Radome Antenna with 2.1dBi Gain by GME

The GME 580mm Heavy Duty Radome Antenna is built for 4WDs, touring vehicles and work utes that need a tough UHF CB antenna without going oversized. With a black fibreglass radome, heavy duty spring base and 2.1dBi gain, it is well suited to off-road use where durability and practical performance both matter.

As part of GME’s AE470x antenna range, the AE4704B uses an interchangeable whip design. This lets you swap whips to suit different terrain and driving conditions, rather than being locked into one antenna setup. Shorter, lower-gain whips are generally better suited to hilly country, mountainous terrain and built-up areas, while longer, higher-gain whips are commonly used for flatter country and open-road touring.

The ground independent design gives you more flexibility with mounting locations, which is useful on modern 4WDs, bull bars and touring setups where a traditional ground plane may not be ideal. The pre-terminated FME connector also helps simplify installation, with the included FME to PL259 adaptor supplied in the box.

Finished in black, the AE4704B is a strong option for drivers wanting a neat, heavy duty UHF antenna for serious touring, off-road driving or everyday vehicle comms. A white version is also available under model AE4704.
