The Solid Fold 2.0 ships fully assembled with all mounting hardware, including the patented Jaw-Grip and EZ-Lock clamps, and an installation guide. No additional hardware purchases are required for a standard installation.

The cover uses Extang's patented clamp system that attaches directly to the Hilux bed flanges without drilling, adhesive, or alterations to the bed caps. The Jaw-Grip clamps secure at the front near the cab and the EZ-Lock clamps along the sides lock themselves into position when engaged. Most sports bars that mount inside the tub and sit at or near cab roofline height will prevent the cover from folding fully flat against the cab. In many cases the cover can still be opened to two-thirds bed access, but full fold-back is typically blocked by the bar. We recommend measuring the clearance between your sports bar and the proposed fold path of the cover before purchasing.

The EnduraShield panels are 1-inch thick automotive-grade polymer designed to resist dents, scratches, and UV-induced fading. The Trifecta 2.0 soft fold is lighter and easier to fold back, and comes in at a lower price point.
