What's included in the box, and do I need any additional parts to fit the Endure ALX?
The Endure ALX ships with the hard folding cover unit and all required mounting hardware. One important note: this cover requires the OE Silver Cargo Rails to fit correctly on the RAM 1500 DT with RamBox. The cargo rails are not included with the cover. Check whether your truck already has them fitted before ordering, as you will need to source them separately if not.
How does the Secure Rotary Latch System work?
The Secure Rotary Latch at the tailgate uses a twist-and-lift motion for one-handed operation. When you close the cover against the bed rails, it automatically locks in place, so there is no separate step required to secure it. To open, you simply twist and lift the handle. TPO panels are designed to resist dents, abrasion, and UV-induced fading better than traditional aluminium panels, which can crease under point impact. They are also lighter than fiberglass alternatives while maintaining significant structural rigidity.
The RAM 1500 DT RamBox has factory storage in the bed rails. Does the Endure ALX work over the RamBox?
Yes, this cover is specifically engineered for the RAM 1500 DT fitted with the RamBox option. It is not compatible with the standard RAM 1500 bed rail profile without RamBox. The mounting system is designed to accommodate the RamBox rail height. Confirm that your DT has the RamBox configuration and not the standard bed before purchasing.
How much bed access does the Endure ALX provide?
With the cover closed, it provides full protection across the entire 5'7" bed.
