Recovery Hitch and Soft Shackle Combo by Carbon Offroad

A proper recovery setup starts with using the right gear in the right place. This Carbon Offroad Recovery Hitch and Soft Shackle Combo gives you a purpose-built recovery point for your hitch receiver, paired with a high-strength soft shackle that is quick to rig and easier on synthetic gear than traditional metal hardware.

The Carbon Recovery Hitch is CNC machined from 6061 T6 aluminium, finished in Type 3 hard anodising, and shaped with smooth radiused edges that are designed to be kinder on synthetic rope. The matching soft shackle completes the system with a strong, lightweight connection that helps reduce metal in the recovery setup.

Designed to fit 50 mm receiver hitches, including shallow and deep styles, this combo gives you a practical and safer recovery solution for off-road use. The dual-orientation shackle eye lets you position the opening upward or sideways to better suit the angle of pull, while the lightweight hitch body makes fitment and removal easier than many comparable steel units.

Tow balls are for towing on the road and should never be used for recoveries. A hitch-mounted recovery point keeps the load in the receiver where it belongs, and the included synthetic soft shackle helps reduce loose metal in the system.
