The TAG Extreme Recovery Towbar & Direct Fit Wiring Harness for Nissan Y62 Patrol Series 1-5 bundles the same heavy-duty towbar used across the TAG XR range with a direct-fit trailer wiring harness, covering the standard factory Y62 wagon body from Series 1 through 5. It's rated to 3500kg towing capacity with a 350kg ball weight, and the towbar fits concealed behind the bumper for a factory-look finish.
Two recovery points are integrated into the 3-piece side-arm design and carry a 4000kg working load limit, giving you a genuine rated snatch point alongside the towing capacity. The unit mounts using tow ball mount L4045TXR and wears a textured, extreme-duty powder coat.
The included harness is a plug-and-play design, bench tested and rated to ADR standards, so it powers your trailer or caravan lights without adversely affecting the vehicle's safety systems. No soldering or special tools are needed, it's compatible with Trailer Stability Programming, Lane Collision Avoidance and Park Distance Control, and it won't interfere with brake lights, turn signals or live wire connections.
Because the towbar sits concealed behind the bumper, fitment involves removing the factory bumper and cutting it to clear the hitch receiver, so it's best left to an experienced installer.
