The original Runva 13XP was known for it's exceptional reliability and raw strength, however due to it's larger physical size it often didn't fit in many bullbars. Now, with the new 13EXPEDITION, Runva have squeezed the same 13,000lb line pull capacity into a smaller body that will fit almost any winch compatible bar!
The 13 EXPEDITION has been designed with off-roaders, tradies and recovery operators in mind who need that extra bit of muscle. The winch combines brute strength with clever usability and a great design. Its rugged construction, faster line speed, and upgraded low-profile stainless steel clutch handle make it the go-to choice when recovery is non-negotiable. It’s compatible with most bull bars and features an ergonomic (and rechargeable!) wireless remote that won’t quit on you mid-pull.
On top of its rugged build and powerful performance, the Runva 13EXPEDITION also comes bundled with essential recovery gear to get you started straight out of the box.
As mentioned you’ll receive both a rechargeable wireless remote (now with built-in torch) and a heavy-duty wired remote for flexible winch control, plus an in-cab rocker switch and line for easy operation from the driver’s seat. A soft shackle and recovery ring are included for safe, effective recoveries, along with all the necessary wiring, nuts, bolts, and fittings for installation. And just for good measure, you’ll also get two stubbys to keep the drinks cold while you're busy.

What vehicles suit a 13,000lb winch?
The 13EXPEDITION is aimed at heavier 4WD builds — fully loaded Landcruiser 200 Series, GXL 76 Series wagons, Patrol GUs with heavy setups, dual cabs with substantial tray and canopy builds, and vehicles carrying significant aftermarket gear and supplies. If your rig's GVM is approaching or above 3.5 tonnes, the extra pulling margin of 13,000lb over 11,000lb is meaningful.
What is the Armortech rope and how long is it?
The 13EXPEDITION ships with 11mm x 25m Armortech double-braided synthetic rope, rated to 25,250lb. Armortech offers better abrasion resistance than standard single-braid synthetic. The 11mm diameter and 25,250lb rope rating gives you a strong safety margin above the winch's 13,000lb pull.
What does the rechargeable wireless remote include?
The EXPEDITION wireless remote charges via USB, includes a built-in LED torch for low-light recoveries, and shows a real-time battery voltage readout. A meaningful upgrade over disposable battery remotes — particularly on extended trips where carrying spare batteries or dealing with a dead remote mid-recovery is a real inconvenience. A conventional heavy-duty wired remote is also included as a backup.
