This Slimsport Roof Rack Kit is designed specifically for the Subaru XV Crosstrek 2nd Gen (GT) (2017–2023) and gives you a clean, low-profile platform to carry what doesn’t fit inside. It mounts to the factory mounting points once the OEM rails are removed, so you’re not drilling or modifying the roof. It just fits the way it should.
The flat-deck Slimsport design keeps things sleek and practical. You get a generous load area of 1474 mm x 1146 mm, giving you plenty of usable space without turning your XV into a wind-catching tower. It sits low, looks factory, and stays quiet thanks to the included full fairing with rubber edge trim.
The rack uses high-strength aluminium slats with T-slots on both the top and bottom, so mounting Front Runner accessories is straightforward. Awnings, recovery boards, light bars, storage boxes, rooftop gear — you can build it out to suit touring, weekend camping, or daily work duties.
If you’re planning to run a 40" light bar, there’s an optional Slimsport 40" Light Bar Wind Fairing available with a cut-out to suit the 40" LED Slim Light Bar VX1000-CB SM (12V/24V, single mount), helping keep your setup tidy and aerodynamic (sold separately).

Approximate Installed Weight
The t-slots on the tops and bottoms of the slats accommodate standard 8mm bolts.
To determine the approximate height from your vehicle’s roof to the top of your Slimsport Rack, add 6–7cm to the highest point of your roof.
