Boab 45 Litre Vertical or Flat Mount Poly Diesel Fuel Tank

Built tough for flexible installs, the Boab 45L Poly Diesel Fuel Tank is designed to fit behind seats, cabs, under false floors, or on top of trays and roof racks. Its slim profile and dual mounting capability make it ideal for dual cabs, wagons, and custom builds where space is limited but extra fuel is essential.

This tank features pre-installed nutserts to help stabilise the tank and prevent sliding, though the full weight should always be supported using metal straps across the designated mounting points.

What mounting orientations does the 45L tank support?

The FTP45FV mounts either vertically or flat. Vertical suits behind-seat, wall-mount, or in-front-of-tray positions. Flat mounting works for under-floor, sub-frame, or on-tray installs. The dual-orientation design gives it genuine flexibility for custom builds and tight-space fitments.

Does a filler cap come included, or is that sold separately?

The filler kit is sold separately. The tank has a spigot filler neck compatible with 38mm ID hose and supports both remote and close-coupled filler cap configurations.

What are the exact dimensions, will it fit in a dual-cab tub or under a floor?

The FTP45FV measures 1090mm L x 90mm H x 580mm D and weighs 8kg empty. At just 90mm high when mounted flat, it is an extremely slim profile, well suited to sub-tray, under-floor, or false-floor installations where vertical space is at a premium.

How do I secure the tank, does mounting hardware come included?

Is there a compatible vent kit for this tank if I am mounting it in an enclosed space?

Spare Diesel tank

Bought a spare diesel tank for an up and coming trip but haven't used it yet. Looks to be a really well made tank and will probably use it for my house backup generator now.

Order Dispatch

Orders are usually dispatched within 1-3 business days. Should there be any delays we will let you know immediately.

In order to get your purchase to you as promptly and safely as possible we utilise a number of trusted and reputable courier services, including Australia Post (depending on the item and your location). These delivery services should have your item delivered to your door within 2 - 10 working days depending on your location. In some cases where the address is based in the more regional parts of Australia this may take longer. Should the delivery time take longer than we would like we will let you know.

As soon as the item has been shipped we will provide you with a tracking number via email. You can then use this number to watch your item make it's way toward your location. It should also give you a clear idea of when to expect your item.

Depending on the item we may contact you to arrange delivery. In order to ensure your purchase lands in the correct hands we will require a signature from you on delivery. If you are not home on delivery the postman/courier will leave a card with collection details.
