A 6.7m (22ft) boat pushes right at the upper end of what a mid-range hand winch can handle comfortably, which is where this Atlantic 1135kg (2500lb) marine trailer winch is built to sit. Its triple-gear ratio of 10:1, 5:1 and 1:1 gives you mechanical advantage on the heavy end of the pull and a quick 1:1 ratio once the boat's rolling.

The winch body is 4mm axle-grade steel with machine-cut gears, heat-treated hardened steel bushes and a Dacromet finish for rust resistance in salt-spray conditions. A protective side cover and removable handle round out the build, and it's been tested by a NATA-accredited laboratory.

It's available fitted with Atlantic rope, webbing strap or cable, each rated to the full 1135kg capacity. Mounting bolts are sold separately.
