The TAG 4x4 Recovery Towbar for Ute Chopped Y62 Nissan Patrol Wagons is built specifically for Y62 wagons that have been converted into a ute-style tray, filling a fitment gap that standard Nissan Patrol towbars don't cover. It carries a 3500kg towing capacity and 350kg ball weight, and the 89mm x 89mm reinforced crossbar sits flush against the chassis for better departure-angle clearance off-road.

Two integrated recovery points are rated to a 4500kg working load limit, so the same unit that tows your trailer also gives your convoy a properly rated point for a snatch recovery. The bevelled side-arms are shaped to suit soft shackles, and the whole assembly wears a textured, extreme-duty powder coat built for constant sun and gravel exposure.

This towbar is engineered specifically for the chopped Y62 ute conversion and will not suit a standard factory Patrol wagon, so check your vehicle's configuration against the fitment table below before ordering.

No. This towbar is built specifically for Y62 wagons that have been converted to a ute-style chopped tray and will not suit a standard factory Patrol wagon. If your Patrol hasn't been chopped, check our standard Y62 wagon towbar range instead.

What's the towing capacity of this towbar?

It's rated to 3500kg towing capacity with a 350kg ball weight. Always confirm your vehicle's own GCM and compliance plate figures aren't the limiting factor before loading up to that rating.
