The PowertraxPRO XR opens and closes via a wireless key fob included with the cover. An electromagnetic brake locks the cover in any position along the rail at the press of a button. The integrated LED cargo light in the canister is also controlled by the fob, with a safety auto shutoff to help prevent battery drain. Replacement fob batteries are straightforward to source. Sharp point impacts can leave marks over time, but routine daily and off-road use is well within what the aluminium construction is engineered for.

Yes. The T-slot tracks sit on the exterior surface of the cover, and the sealing system along the bed rails and flush-front panel functions independently of what is mounted above. The bed seals are designed to perform regardless of rack accessories on the Trax Rails, provided the cover is correctly closed and the seals are in good condition.
