The integrated Trax Rail System works well with most T-slot rack accessories from Rhino Rack, Yakima, Thule, and many more.
Utilising a remote keyfob, this retractable pickup bed cover opens and closes at the touch of a button. Wireless operation allows it to easily open and close, and an electromagnetic brake allows it to lock in any position along the rail.
The patented low-profile design incorporates a front cover that is flush with the truck bed cover, which streamlines the overall appearance and provides a firm, dependable seal to help to keep the truck bed dry.
Sealed ball-bearing rollers mounted onto the aluminium support beams allow the PowertraxONE XR tonneau cover to retract or close effortlessly without the use of springs or any kind of mechanism no moving parts to jam, freeze or fail.
Constructed from a one-piece sheet of polycarbonate that is engineered to retract without joints or hinges that can trap dust, wear out or freeze.

What is the Trax Rail System and what can I mount on it?

The Trax Rail System is a pair of integrated T-slot tracks built into the exterior surface of the XR cover. These tracks are compatible with standard T-slot accessories from brands including Rhino-Rack, Yakima, Thule, and others, letting you mount crossbars, cargo carriers, bike racks, and more directly on top of the closed cover. The cover includes the Trax Rails; accessories are sold separately.

How does the electric operation work?

The PowertraxONE XR opens and closes via a wireless key fob included with the cover. An electromagnetic brake locks it in any position along the rail at the press of a button. The one-piece polycarbonate construction and sealed ball-bearing rollers are designed for smooth, effortless operation without springs or pull mechanisms.

Can I run a rooftop tent on this cover?

The XR Series is designed to support accessories mounted to the Trax Rail System, including rooftop tent setups using compatible crossbars. The specific load capacity depends on the crossbar system you select and the T-slot rating. We recommend confirming the crossbar load rating against your tent's weight before committing to this setup. Do I need to close the tonneau cover to use the rack accessories?

Generally yes. The T-slot tracks are on the exterior surface of the cover, so accessories like rooftop tents need the cover to be in the closed position to be usable. Some accessories such as cargo crossbars remain in place when the cover is partially open, but anything requiring the full surface area needs the cover closed. The cover can still be opened and retracted with crossbars installed, within their operating clearance.

What is the difference between the PowertraxONE XR and the standard PowertraxONE MX?

Both models share the same one-piece polycarbonate cover and electric key fob operation. The XR adds the integrated Trax Rail System, which gives you a platform for T-slot accessories above the cover. If you are planning to carry a rooftop tent, cargo box, or bike racks on top of the tonneau, the XR is the version to choose. If you only need the cover itself, the MX is the simpler option.

Will the bed still seal properly with rack accessories mounted on top?

Yes. The T-slot tracks sit on the outer surface of the cover, and the sealing system along the bed rails and flush-front panel operates independently of what is mounted above. The cover is designed to seal the bed regardless of what is attached to the Trax Rails, provided the seals are in good condition and the cover is properly closed.

Can I still access the full bed when the cover is fully open?

Yes. When fully retracted, the cover coils into the canister at the cab end of the bed, giving you access to most of the cargo area, apart from the space occupied by the canister. The electromagnetic brake also allows you to stop and hold it at any intermediate position along the rail.
