What's the breaking strength, and what winch will this suit?

The rope has an 8,000kg (approximately 17,600lb) breaking strength. It's designed to match the quality used in Carbon Winches. Check your winch's rated line pull and confirm the rope's breaking strain comfortably exceeds it before ordering.

What does "spliced with thimble" mean?

A thimble is a metal or reinforced eyelet fitted inside the loop at the rope's end. It protects the rope fibres at the connection point and reduces wear where the shackle or hook attaches. A spliced thimble end is a clean, strong finish that's ready to use with standard recovery hardware.

Is 10mm diameter compatible with my winch?

Most mid-range 4WD winches (8,000–12,000lb) are designed for 10mm synthetic rope. Check your winch drum's rated rope diameter before ordering. If your winch came with a 10mm steel cable, a 10mm synthetic rope is typically a compatible replacement in terms of diameter — just confirm your fairlead type is suited to synthetic.
